Background
I started out on the East coast. We lived in Hopewell Village, a 1700's
National Park. My father was a photographer for the National Park System.
His pictures have been featured in magazines, books, billboards and in all
of the national parks. We moved to northern California in the late 70's.
After graduating high school I enlisted in the U.S. Army as a motorcycle
mechanic. That was lots of fun.
Four years later I find myself roofing for several years. Very hard work
but the money was so good. The only problem is, you don't see very many
old roofers.
Various odd jobs to make ends meet. Then after my father's death I relocated
to Oregon. Starting off in a new state, new town.
Spent time making large tarps for the trucking industry. Then making titanium
engine parts for Boeing.
After they went through a huge lay off I attended college at Linn~Benton
Community College, earning an Associates degree in Computer User Support.
Seven years at Target Distribution Center T-558 as a warehouse worker
and a DTO Tech.
Then after some economic bad times I have ended up at Good Samaritan Lebanon
Hospital as a housekeeper waiting for my luck to turn around. |
