Communication – I am a very easy going person that is easy to speak with, I am polite and respectful. I can easily view any situation from another's point of view. I am very successful at communicating with both up and downstream customers.

Problem Solving – I enjoy a challenge and can think outside the box, I prefer to be proactive instead of reactive.

Team Player – I enjoy both being part of a team and leading a team. I had much success and recognition as a team leader at Target. I led crews of my fellow workers to move freight efficiently and quickly, thus freeing up dock space and creating productive work for others.

Systems Knowledge – I have a very deep education and understanding of Microsoft operating systems and software such as Remedy ticket tracking software and Citrix. I have had a growing interest in Linux for the past several years and thoroughly enjoy it.

Attention to Detail – I have always been recognized for my attention to details. As a roofer it was imperative and as a Target employee all of my reviews made note of my attention to details and error free work. I believe it is better and cheaper to do the job right the first time than to have to come back and do it a second time.

2001-2009 Target Corp.

I served as a second tier Distribution Technical Operator, providing technical support for desktop PCs, tablet PCs, printers, wireless routers, and LAN connectivity. I provided user privileges and rights, performed server back-ups, imaging of PCs, Assure all maintenance records for PC's are up to date and deploy new PC's in accordance with established schedules, and provided training to end users. I also acted as a general warehouse teammate, providing support thru-out the warehouse with portable RF devices. I worked as a team leader ensuring the flow of freight thru out the warehouse to provide a consistent and equal level of work for both up and down stream customers.

Graduated with knowledge of software, hardware and networking skills. Received training in Microsoft Windows, Office, Visual Basic, Novell Network mgmt., Oracle/SQL, and several other of the soft skills required for success.

1989-1996 Roofing

As a roofer I gained experience in leading crews of employees from diverse backgrounds. I was responsible for all aspects of the job from accurately measuring, estimating, ordering, removal of existing roof, and installation of a new roof. I am proud of the fact that I have never had a leak or 'comeback'.

1984-1988 United States Army

I was responsible for the maintenance, repair, parts ordering, and mission readiness, and of a motorcycle shop consisting of over 350 vehicles. I had constant customer interaction often with very high ranking officers.
